this economy going. The Dems seem silent on this whole thing. The Repugs are out in force saying they don't like Obama's package.

Question: Is Obama goading the Repugs into agreeing to raise the total $'s that this bill will ultimately wind up with?

I think Obama wants to beef up the total $'s - but if he came out with that in the first place - he would have been shot down by the Repugs. It looks that what he may be doing is getting the Repugs to enrich the total - and then he'll go with that. Am I reading this right?

It won't look anything like it does now. I expect it will be bigger And have more infrastructure spending.

2. No matter how many less votes the republicans represent, they can defeat

Democratic legislation. No matter how narrow they have in numbers when in charge, there is nothing they can't pass. It's the oddest phenomena I have ever seen.
