He's not a currently serving member of congress, he wasn't serving in the bush admin, and he's not a dem?

i'd have been shocked if he was there.

I only got home a day ago, and finally watched the ceremony on TV, since I didn't see any of it while actually attending the Inauguration (I posted about that, including photos of the madness and frivolity, at the DU thread here.)

Seemed to me that not all the SCOTUS Justices were there... and I never did spot Alito. What gives with that... was he in the continuity plans or something? :scared:
