1. 8 years of 24/7 bad news followed by 3 consecutive days of great news..
That can really screw with your head.

2. So true....
...I just KNOW this has to be a dream. Then...I relize it is true ~~ really true. We have come out of the dark, ugly, dank tunnel...and into wonderful, clear, warm, sunny daylight!

Man, that story today about Michelle telling the guards to let the ladies in the WH gate? I cried my butt off. Wow...it just is sooooo great to have real people in the WH!

:hi:

3. When Robert Gibbs' press briefing came on today I just stared at the TV
It was a TV in a common area and it was muted so I didn't have a damn clue what he was saying. But it didn't matter. The satisfaction of having a White House Press Secretary who has heard of the Cuban Missile Crisis was enough.

4. I am delighted to no longer be ashamed of the leader of my country.
I am actually proud of this country again, and my thinking is that things are only going to get better.

I see a bleak outlook for the very right, but of course they are too stupid to realize that, and will keep hacking away at their own support by thinking up more idiocy and making themselves even less popular than they are right now.
