1. What a bunch of jackasses.
Gibb needs not to be so nice. Cut them off and put them in their place.

or snapped at anybody yet. I guess it takes a special kind of patience. Apparently they're fans of torture as well.

3. I didn't see the press conference, but it sounds like they're doing what they did to Clinton
at first.

Then when Clinton hosted a big dinner for them, they all suddenly quieted down (a little). I believe Rolling Stone had an article about it back in '93.

Buncha assholes. :evilfrown:

5. You know I don't mind the press being stern when they question public officials or executives
but I have to wonder (with very few exceptions) where these people had been for the past 8 years. I don't mind them doing their job for a change but where is the consistency?

8. I don't either...that's supposed to be their job.
But as you say, where were they when Bush stole the election on through his lies about Iraq, his failure with Katrina, etc.?

12. Today they were parroting GOP talking points as questions
I don't really consider that to be them doing their job. "You can't close down Gitmo, what about the terrorists!? Why don't you know what to do with the terrorists yet after 24 hours in office?"

These Repube constructs that the press is offering up as "questions" have no logic.

15. By doing their jobs I am referring to actually asking smart even uncomfortable questions. Not the
dumb shit that we've all come to expect from them.

instead of an embarrassment to themselves.

18. They apparently got them out of mothballs and
dusted them off after 8 years of kissing Bush's ass. I expect nothing less of the bought and paid for corporate whores who will sooner or later see a return to the taxes they were paying under Clinton. It all comes down to $$.

19. That's exactly the point these little "celebrities" in our media are overpaid as
it is. It must burn them up inside to know they'll have to pony up their fair share.
