Limbaugh: I Fear Obama’s Repeal Of Bush-Era Secrecy Rules ‘Make It Easier’ To Hold Bush To Account
Earlier today, President Obama issued his first set of Executive Orders. One of these orders instructs “federal agencies to handle requests for information from the public and press under the Freedom of Information Act with an eye toward disclosure, not refusal.” The order reportedly returns to “pre-Bush administration policies” regarding FOIA.

In response to the “new standard of openness,” conservative talker Rush Limbaugh said that he fears that the more open FOIA rules will make it easier for Bush to be held to account for any misdeeds he committed as president:

LIMBAUGH: What I’m afraid of is that what Obama did with this executive order is actually make it easier for the media to go get Bush documents. Because you know Pelosi and some of the guys over in congress are talking about war crimes trials and charges and so forth. <…>

What I’m afraid of is what Obama’s done here is made the gathering of the information for this kind of stuff– This is not American. This is not America. This is not what America does. We don’t– This is Banana Republic kind of stuff.

4. If Obama kept them, Rush would be screaming that Obama was
subverting the Constitution to hide his "crimes" and protect his accomplices.

With no sense of irony, of course

6. LOL. In Rush's twisted rotted mind -
he thinks it is not American to make government documents public so that if laws were broken, guilty parties can be prosecuted.

:silly:

7. I listened to Fatty the Mouthpiece's show today
Many lefties like me normally avoid Limbaugh like the plague. But today's opportunity to listen to El Fatbo the day after the inauguration was too good to miss.

I was not disappointed. It was a tear jerking spectacle at best and a virtual suicide watch at worst.

The right wing talkers really have no answer for Obama. They tried to smear him by association by tying him with, in no particular order, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Saddam Hussein, FDR, Osama Bin Laden, and on and on.

But they never laid a glove on the man himself.

That said, President Obama better not have any zipper problems because the GOP beast isn't quite dead yet. No scandals. That would cause trouble because the Democrats from now on will take either credit or blame for everything that happens for at least the next four years.

Scandals are what the Pig Man and all his imitators feed on, like vultures on a carcass. As long as O's administration stays clean, the worse it is for them.

8. So, in other words, he's basically admitting that he believes, too, that
there are convictable offenses to be found...? Did he really say that? What a maroon... (manners and fear of being banned for saying something highly offensive prevents me from describing this nitwit the way I'd really like to).

11. Well, he did actually offer up his services as an apologist for what happened at Abu Gharib
"I'm talking about people having a good time, these people , you ever heard of emotional release? You heard of need to blow some steam off?" Limbaugh asked a caller. "This is no different than what happens at the Skull and Bones initiation and we're going to ruin people's lives over it and we're going to hamper our military effort, and then we are going to really hammer them because they had a good time."

Not to mention acting as an apologist for just about every unethical, illegal, immoral, or unconstitutional thing Bushco and the Repukes did during the past eight years (and longer than that, really)

:puke:

19. Yeah everyone seems to forget that Mc Cain was crippled from being subjected to 'harsh'

interrogation techniques like 'stress positioning'

aka having your arms tied together behind your back
and then being hung up by your wrists for several days.

That's why Mc Cain can't lift his arms above his shoulders.

Limp Sack is Racist and a Nazi. There is no other explanation
for what comes out of his mouth.
