For all the would be Kerry campaign advisers out there

Recently there have been some who have suggested that Kerry go negative, speak with more force, use shorter sentences, dress differently, and on and on. For all you gloom and doomers out there, here's a suggestion. GET UP OFF YOUR REAR ENDS AND DO SOMETHING! Most cities and/or counties in this country have a Democratic HQ, so it shouldn't be all that hard to find one in your area. Then you can march right in and offer your expertise. Or if nothing else, volunteer to work the phones, email the faithful, drive people to the polls, and a number of other things that are needed to run a campaign. That way, instead of just sitting here bitching, you all can get out and feel more involved and possibly even be justified in your bitching. I volunteered and it is invigorating. There are many many people out there who are all fighting for the same cause. So try it, you might just like it and maybe you too can offer up a suggestion or two as to how the campaign should be run. If nothing else, attend a Kerry meetup. Normally they are held on Thursdays and they want brainstorming. Senator Kerry can win, but we need to work hard to ensure it, not just sit around and moan and groan.

Every other post lately seems to be from someone, typically 600 posts, wanting to give advice. Get over it and DO something, stop assuming that Kerry's campaign is going to look at DU, see your brilliant post, and think you are some genius.
