That Bush presser was hard to watch
Just saw the recap of it on Olbermann...the only thing that made it bearable was hearing Keith O's responses to each of Bush's idiotic self-piteous ramblings.

1. Did you see the recent Cheney interview?
I swear, that man has no soul. He doesn't even try to tell good lies. He simply states as fact whatever he wants things to be. He's still saying al Qaeda and Iraq had a relationship.

Onward ho, the mythical legacy tour ensues!

9. Actually al Qaeda and Iraq had a relationship, of a sort.
It's indirect, but they are both former CIA cat's paws.

11. Well in the broadest sense we had a relationship with al Qaeda.
That doesn't mean we conspired with them to attack ourselves.

In the context of Cheney's interview it was about whether Iraq had anything to do with 9/11. This is one of the lies he told repeatedly, and is still telling to this day, to get the US to support his fantasy adventure in Iraq.

2. Both Bush and Cheney have now admitted they ordered torture.
They must be pretty confident that nothing is going to happen to them.

5. Village Idiot or Criminally Insane?
If there's anyone out there who still believes that George Bush was ever presidential material then they are without doubt either evil or retarded. Even if his past actions as president were somehow eliminated from everyone's mind and we were somehow left without any recollection whatsoever of what has occurred in the past eight years, that press conference would have left everyone, bar none, thinking that they were watching a bizarre and fictional account of what might happen to the US as a result of a takeover by a bunch of sociopaths. The problem is that it has happened and the country is much worse than any third world corrupt and cruel dictatorship that ever existed. If the crap that has happened is allowed to be swept under the rug by the Obama administration the disease will progress and anarchy may be the only answer left.

10. My Mother in Law called the wife today and stated...
Ask (me) what is wrong with W. She stated she has been impressed with Obama and can't figure out what is wrong with Georgie. Now the in laws are hard core righties, and I'm not sure why she thinks I can answer the question. But should I call her and tell her that in my opinion he was a tad tipsy and is a delusional asshole?
