OMG!: DressRegistry.com - Register your inaugural ball dress online...
Just shown on CNN.

Apparently the idea is to make sure that no one else will be wearing your exact same $5,000 dress.

2. It's a little late to find that out..
Super expensive dresses were already bought, and those places will be so crowded, who's gonna really care?

Remember when Mzzzzlaura showed up in the same dress as two other women?? The issue then became, who looked BETTER in said-dress:)

5. I remember that.
They were red dresses at a Christmas party if I recall correctly.

3. I don't blame women for not wanting to wear a dress that someone else is planning to.

wear to the same event. Just because some might be $5,000 is beside the point IMO.

From a quick glance, most are far from that price point anyways.

4. These balls are going to be so crowded that nobody is going to
be able to see anybody else's dress.

6. Shown on CNN
....now that is hilarious!! I'll save the time and the money, because I have no interest in attending the inauguration. Altho. wearing a 5 thousand dollar dress or better with matching heels sounds like fun. And CNN needs some help with fashion...even if someone else is wearing the exact same dress as you, it's how you wear the dress that makes the difference. :-)

8. Lotta balls...
.
.

When I looked at that site a few days ago, the list they showed indicated which of them were the ten "OFFICIAL" balls.. For some reason, they'd deleted the word "Official" from their list..

10. If I was going to Washington to stand on the mall during the inarguration...I would seriously
consider wearing a ball dress on this occassion. I've always wanted to wear one. I would do it. Who cares if I was outside only. Who cares if it were to be only day-light. I totally think all the people going to the mall should dress up. Obama inarguration is everyone's ball.
