By the end of his career, Wallace had lots of support in the African American community.

That's what comes from holding your nose and reaching out in the grown up world of real politics. The civil rights community has always been very strategic about these things with very positive results.

Sadly, this history is unknown to people who don't care to learn about real history, and the stories behind some of the following pictures, I'm sure will go right over their heads.
