Glad he's out of the senate if this is true about Interior.

Actually if this is true, I'm kinda surprised they'd let Salazar leave his senate seat considering how Salazar would easily win reelection, mainly because he's Hispanic. I know quite a few people, including myself who would not support him again. He's no leader, he's a follower who can't make a move on his own - belongs to two of the "gangs" cuz he's a pussy.

I'd like to see Diana DeGette get his seat

3. To quote Douglas Adams, he'll be mostly harmless as Secretary of the Interior.

He'll actually do some useful things to help with the environment, and deal with water rights issues and such - that's where his strengths are.

More importantly, he'll no longer have a vote on things like foreign policy and such, where he's voted the wrong way multiple times and sold us out.

Maybe this is a good thing in that we may get a decently progressive Senator for a change...
