Who needs The Blaire House? They can rent out Hickory Hill!
Edited on Fri Dec-12-08 11:29 PM by Clio the Leo
So Ethel Kennedy, prominent Obama supporter who lives at Hyannais Port, Mass has been trying to sell Hickory Hill, the compound she shared with Bobby in Mclean, VA for years now. With no one willing to put down it's $12.5 million price tag, it sits empty.

It's not far from Sidwell Friends School.

Hmmmmmm........

Maybe 20 days worth of Obama magic rubbed off on the place would help find it a taker?

Just throwing it out there! lol

1. Looks like the Secret Service
could set up shop there...which is the only reason the Obama's asked about Blair house to begin with.

9. The Obamas should thumb their noses at the Bushes and take Hickory Hill.
It is quite a lovely house. I've always had a thing for Georgian houses, anyway. There is something stately about them.

10. Both will be bugged anyway

Hickory Hill, because it was a Kennedy house and close
to NSA and CIA listening posts.

Blair House, that's where foreign leaders stay.

it will sell in a heartbeat after having served as transition housing for the Obama family.

A win-win move. And sorry Bush, by denying Blair House, you aren't going to keep Obama out of Washington.

Good luck with those lame ass receptions you're having.....it's not going to change the history that you've destroyed this country!
