The market just wants SOMEONE to be in charge, and Obama looks like he's in charge. :D

I forgot what it was like to have a president who actually knows how to give a press conference. It's a strange sensation!

17. the much debated tax ?
from yesterday was addressed.... Barack said whether by repeal or by expiration... would be up to the recommendation of his advisory team. His focus was on the 95% that will get tax cuts.

22. Remember when he received criticism during that forum....
.... with McCain with ... oh, what's his name, that preacher dude. Some said his answers were too long and intellectual? I KNEW if we could make it past September and October we'd be ok. I knew that "flaw" would prove to be a blessing.

rich CAN afford to pay more.

26. He's got the right idea
Put the money in the hands of the people. Take care of Main Street and that will take care of Wall street. The US worker/middle class keeps the economy humming, but if we have no jobs there's not a whole lot we can do.

29. And you know what else is cool?
isn't it typical for the President or whomever is giving the press conference to have an aide announce when the thing is over? "Thank you!" someone will shout from the side and the President will leave? Did you hear Gibbs doing that? Nope. Did we hear Obama say, "I'm gonna take one more question"? Yep.

36. Nah, I never liked that one.
But he should SERIOUSLY have Stevie Wonder follow him wherever he goes. Of course MY official transition theme song is "Hold On, I'm Comin'" byt Sam and Dave. :)

That would be a good skit showing Stevie following him around. I liked the Sam and Dave song. My favorite was, There's Hope by India.Arie.

30. I liked his answer about the tax cut repeal.
It bodes well that he didn't simply say "yes, I will let the tax cuts expire" as he had done a few times in his campaign.
