2) Biden, having been "contaminated" by Obama, will be forced off the ticket, and Sen. Hillary Clinton will be selected instead. As a way of showing unity, she will offer the VP slot to Sen. John McCain.

3) Obama will cut a deal before fleeing the country, step down and request his electors to vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton. She will either keep Biden as her VP or ask McCain to be her VP.

... the document on the "Fight the Smears" website seems to bear the words "Rev 11/01" as in "revised November 2001" and "laser" as in laser printer implying that it was printed a LONG time after 1961.

That is why they're differentiating between "certificate of live birth" and "birth certificate." The document on the fight the smears site is a copy of the original, it says so (see bottom center, "This copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding.") And there you have it. The State of Hawaii deems it official and at least two courts have found the case without merit, that's all that matters.

But the simple fact that no one in the Clinton campaign or the McCain campaign (most if not all of whom are smarter than the average Freeper) deemed the matter worthy of bringing up during the campaign is all the proof we need.

Long story short, it's a non-issue and only an imbecile would think otherwise.

I used to have a photocopy of my ORIGINAL birth certificate from 1961 and it too had "CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH" on it. So that's a complete red herring. So is the whole business about this document not being "proof" or "real" because it's only a later-issued document with the information from the original document printed on it. It's a bunch of stuff and nonsense and was proved as such a long time ago.

I have heard all my life that "natural born" means "born on US soil". However, a cousin of my dad's, who is a law professor, insists that "natural born" means "born a citizen, not naturalized". If the second one is correct, then Obama could have been born on the moon and would still qualify to be President based on his mother's status as an American citizen.

Donofrio's and Berg's attempts to create a third type of citizen "born a citizen but not natural born" has no basis in the Constitution or in Law. All those might do is to help refine the question and bring the issue to the broader public's attention.

There are two, and only two types of citizen identified in the Constitution: natrural-born (having a specified characteristic or ability from birth) and naturalized (having confered upon (an alien) the rights and privileges of a citizen.)

The creation of new types classes of citizens will ultimately deprive some citizens of rights which they now hold - maybe you.
