Apparently the MO deadline is Nov. 18th (2 weeks after the election) at which point all provisional and absentee ballots MUST be counted--or else! ()

The current results have McCain winning by 0.1% of the total, or less than 5,000 votes out of a total of around 3 million. Obama is well within his legal rights to request a recount, but I'm pretty sure he won't. We're stuck at 365 EVS, or about 68% of the Electoral College. I know, I know...

BTW, Nader came in third, so Missourians can blame him if they want for their loss of bellwether status--of course, when you factor in the political leanings of the other three parties on the ballot (McKinney, Barr, and Baldwin) the conservative side still comes out narrowly ahead. Go figure. :eyes:

2. Aren't the majority of the votes counted from the cities?
It's not Tuesday yet - I still have hope for our neighbors in Missouri.

Hang in there. :fistbump:

3. Sometimes the people simply prefer the Republican and every Democratic loss
does not mean there was a stolen election.
