Er ...

Mature Republicans in Miami don't know quite what to say:

A surprising moment occurred late this afternoon in a press roundtable featuring Govs. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota and Jon Huntsman of Utah, former Ebay CEO and McCain national campaign co-chairman Meg Whitman, and former OMB Director Rob Portman. A reporter asked whether they would have felt comfortable with Palin as president. After a moment of awkward silence, there were several answers given—but no one said "yes."

At some point, all this will be funny. Not quite yet.

3. I really have been repulsed by such Republican admissions

And by the post-campaign trashing of Palin.

How dare they have foisted her upon us when none of them really thought her capable in the least.

For me it is like-- NOW you're objecting? And you campaigned for "the ticket" that you know was so objectionable?

And they say Meg Whitman of eBay is hoping to run for Governor of California !

4. They new they couldn't win
They ran a nothing campaign.
Limited funding so they didn't throw more away than they had to.
I am sure, quite a few folks turned down VP, before cariboo barbie.
It gave McCain his last stand.
Somebody had to do it.

They still cheated in the election, to make the spread narrower than it was.
Makes them look less pathetic more viable.

Lying cheating bastards.
