Baby bumps are such a celebrity trend, apparently Val wanted to get in on the act!

2. And Bill Richardson says "I like the idea."
http://fundrace.huffingtonpost.com/neighbors.php?type=name&lname=kilmer&fname=val&search=Search

I guess I can see why.

Kilmer has never cast a ballot in New Mexico since registering to vote in 1992, according to registration records.

That's not going to go over well ...

4. Val is a schizo actor, IMO
Sometimes he's great, and other times he just plain sucks. I think if he likes a role he'll get into it and become the character, but if he doesn't really care, he just sucks.

I used to be a BIG Val fan, now, not so much.

I'm sure Richardson has nothing to worry about.

7. Agreed 100%
I thought he was incredible in that movie, which I also felt was medicore otherwise.

I loved him in The Doors, though some people disagree, and I thought a lot of his smaller films, like "Kill Me Again" were great. OTOH I've been totally in love with his (ex) wife forever.

5. Kilmer can be intense, and he has pushed the buttons of some of his directors.
Edited on Fri Nov-07-08 07:22 PM by John1956PA
http://www.mytelevision.com/movie_stars/val_kilmer.html :

In the mid-Nineties, not long after he had turned down the aforementioned sequel to Batman Forever, Kilmer suddenly became enemy number one in the eyes of the entertainment press. A gossip magazine, Buzz, cited him as one of the '12 scariest people in Hollywood'. Joel Schumacher, who directed Batman Forever, called him 'the most psychologically disturbed human being I have ever worked with'. The screenwriter Kevin Jarre said: 'There's a dark side to Val that I don't feel comfortable talking about.' The stories about his activities on set became increasingly preposterous. While making The Saint, he was said to have told the crew to avoid eye contact with him. When he played Jim Morrison in The Doors, he is supposed to have requested that the crew address him as 'Jim'. John Frankenheimer who directed him in The Island of Dr Moreau, is said to have shot the star's final scene and then shouted: 'Cut! Now get that bastard off my set!'

12. No, he is what is called a "Christian Scientist."
The main idea of the faith is that god can heal your wounds. A very small percentage of the members take it literally, there approximately a million christian scientists in the country. Kilmer does not take it literally, just as a majority of christians in this nation don't take the bible literally. Ironically, Bill Richardson was raised as a christian scientist.

13. The real fundamentalist type Christian
Scientists are the ones that will let their own children die rather than seeking medical help. I had a neighbor a few years ago that was a Christian Scientist, he died at about 45 because he thought god would heal him.

He's certainly not a Republican. He is friends with Richardson and Richardson is in his second and final term. Please take some time to learn a little more.

14. You realize that's a comedy website
It's not real news. I did read that he might run if Richardson were selected to be in the Obama administration, but you linked to a comedy news website.
