5. What good is schadenfreude
if you have to consult your conscience about it? If my conscience had showed up this morning, but I would have given that little Jiminy Cricket pest bastid his walking papers!

I'm glad you realize that the mission has not been accomplished, it's only changed. We ended up with Bush because we were too lazy and complacent. The price of freedom is STILL eternal vigilance, and that's what we all must be about from now on.

22. Hi libodem and rocknation!
Thanks for welcoming me and you're both right. I'm in Ridgewood, Bergen County, and proud to say I was first in line to vote at Somerville Elementary on Tuesday. The polls opened at 6:00 am and I showed up at 4:55 am to watch the poll workers, who were mostly self-identified Republicans.

(To prevent any shenanigans...)

By 5:45 the place was full. The poll workers said some of them had done polls for two or three decades and had never seen an election turnout that early, that full, that fast. All of us had grim, worried expressions ("This MUST go right this time!"). Because of that, I'm assuming everyone standing behind me in line were also Democrats.

18. I won't feel schadenfreude until I see neocons in re-education camps.
They all need harsh lessons in remedial Americanism.

21. Good morning, class!
What I'm about to pass out to you is a very important document called "The Constitution." It's what America was founded on, and it was written a very long time ago in something called the Age of Reason, also known as the Enlightenment. But we'll talk about the Enlightenment later. For now, let's just read together, okay? "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Now, can any of you good little freepers try and tell us what that means? Anybody?

No, sorry Jim, but "God hates fags" isn't the correct answer. I appreciate your spirit, though -- it takes a lot of courage to guess in front of a whole class.

Anyone else? Sean, do you have a guess? Ooo, no, sorry, The Constitution is NOT designed to protect us from the blacks taking over.

For now, let's just work with vocabulary. Let's start with the word "justice," okay?

They'd get it -- eventually -- but let's not forget that high school dropouts went overwhelmingly for McCain.

THEY allowed these current disasters to happen. And they insisted WE were un-American for disagreeing. They can go straight to the devil.
