Odd how every "expert" underestimated Indiana...
...Larry Sabato, Electoral-vote.com, Nate Silver, the people at Intrade, etc...all of them had Indiana down for a loss.

And he won!

I'm wondering when they are going to call NC finally. I think Obama's won that state too.

2. Most pollsters had it as a toss up really.
I'm actually surprised it went to Obama, it had been leaning slightly towards McCain of late..I think they probably had a higher Dem turnout than expected and a lower Dem turnout than expected.

7. I never thought I would see the day that Indiana would go blue.
I have some family background there, and have always seen the state as extremely redneck, backward, racist, etc. That they would vote not just for a Democrat, but for a Black Democrat, seems to me to be almost miraculous.
