Can President Obama do anything about voter fraud/ suppression?
This issue just isn't being taken seriously. Voter fraud is hard to prove, but voter suppression is blatant and rampant.

I know that this is primarily a state issue, but some federal guidelines would allow states to do things their own way, within limits.

For one, purging of voter rolls should be allowed only in the months immediately AFTER an election... not before. This is the one that pisses me off the most, as it's not wingnut groups, but the state government suppressing the vote.

And voting machines should be able to print out a "cash register receipt" confirming your vote.

How much of this is in federal hands?
