A couple of funny real-life encounters I had with freepers today
I was at 7-Eleven this morning when I overheard two redneck women discussing the election. The conversation went like this:

Redneck No. 1: Have you voted yet?

Redneck No. 2: Naw, I ain't gonna vote. But I hope Obama don't win! I don't like him! :puke:

Redneck No. 1: Oh, I like Obama! :loveya:

Redneck No 2: WHAT? :wow: You LIKE him?!?!

Redneck No. 1: Oh, yes. I'm a Democrat. I don't vote for Republicans! :applause:

(BTW, I'm noticing a trend. Most of the people I've talked to who dislike Obama also say they have NO intention of voting.)

Later on, I went to the local ice cream shop. They have two specialty flavors this month: Baracky Road ice cream and Biden Thyme sorbet. A crotchety old businessman walks in, squints at the menu, and says, "I don't see my ice cream flavor up there." The cashier asks him what he's looking for. He says, "Where's your Palin ice cream? Your McCain ice cream?" The cashier says they only have the Democratic ticket ice cream flavors. The man snorts and says, "Well you ought to represent both sides. That's kind of blatant right there." Then he stuffs his money in his pocket and storms out. :nopity:

The girls behind the counter look at each other and express their sentiments like so: :eyes:

That makes me wonder, though: If the shop made a McCain ice cream flavor, what would it taste like? Pancakes? Sour grapes?

6. Q: What does McCain ice cream taste like?
A: Depends.

:D

We went to a flea market here in the heart of Bible Belt red central Ohio yesterday and saw several stands with positive Obama shirts/signs, and only one or two with conservative things. A good but subtle sign.
