I'll grant that lil' Zagnut Palin is the cutest thing around in her Goddess of Whiteness costume (is that polar bear fur?), but that child has been trotted out in costume at every Palin event today, from 9 in the morning till 10 at night.

And as a parent I thank you for the reminder that they have no choice. I think the issue is more that of the parents' treatment of the kids.

Who could blame Piper for wanting to stay up till OMG-o'clock? My kids fight me at bedtime every single night. :) But a good parent knows when to do what's best for the child, not what the child wants to do or what's politically expedient for the parent.
