When do you Dems running for Congress call a crime a crime?

When you've been raised in "polite" upper crust European Society, you get to know what "crap" is. It is a kind of vapid hollow coded "socially correct" pile of empty words, repeated only because they have come to be commonly taken as "acceptable" put down. McCain speaks the Rove side of polarize and keep them in your corner by pulling them in with fear driven to hate. But Democrats have to be careful too lest they enact the other half of Rovism: the on message like an answering machine. How often have you found yourself in exasperation yell at an answering in steps machine: F---- YOU, only to have the machine answer: "I'm sorry, I didn't understand your response. Please try tapping your dail buttons...."?

Only the Democratic Congress managed to get lower marks than Bush, soon after it came to power to date. The reason is not that Dems can't pass anything, but because there is only one Congressman Waxmam. He doesn't yell, he doesn't curse....he perseveres, armed with the fact that the witness is under oath.

Watching Obama surrogates, I see them get punchy from battering by Republican opposites or talk-show hosts. Yet all they do is babble the same, same, same lines to the end that they started with. So often, as when Biden debated Palin, they in no way respond to the host or the opposition. Yet, we know how the "shock-joks" on talk radio make a hell of a good living showing that they are alive, not answering machines. Today, ex-Congressman DeLay was followed by a Dem Congresswoman from Florida and she pointed out that we must remember the source of the charges DeLay made-- THE REPUBLICAN LEADER OF THE HOUSE WHO PRESIDED OVER THE MOST CORRUPT (K STREET) CONGRESS IN OUR LIFETIMES. And then she presented the Obama talking points with zest, debunking the DeLay BS.

Well, the point is, should Obama surrogates not point out the context of the Republicans they oppose. Yet, many spew "the line" and then put a stupid grin on their faces, looking like McCain's spokeswoman. Do they not realize that once the Dems look so much like the Republicans, people are no longer going to see a difference. That will reflect on Obama because, just as McCain is killing himself carrying the Republican label, Dems will kill themselves once voters can no longer tell the difference. Biden, for example, though he spoke up like a mature adult cutting through the squabbles of the kids during the primaries debates, now sounds like a Republican: screaming with contrived rage as an opener and then smiling as Republicans fling mud at him to the finish.

All this is NOT because Dems are mentally the same as Republicans; it is because Dems and Republicans have the same kind of sleazy "politpro" handlers who believe in nothing but in flocking the voter sheep. Compare Obama's ability to stay on track in a back-and-forth and McCain's mid-response stitching together a bunch of "talking points." THAT'S WHY MCCAIN IS LOSING....People may not master the topics, but their day to day experiences enable them to distinguish a fellow human being seeking to get their confidence from an answering machine.

I look forward to Obama's infomercial. But I also know that the Republicans are sending out their troops as Kamikazes. You must know how to answer appropriately without seeming to be a robot controlled by politpros at headquarters.

MANY OF US EX-REPUBLICANS ARE COMFORTABLE IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BECAUSE WE HAVE COME TO KNOW IT AS THE *REAL* BIG TENT. We don't get scared off by superficial minuscule Rove-wanna-bes. But if youth is dropping back in enthusiasm late in the campaign, look at the politpros for the reason why: because no one likes to be addressed by an answering machine.

But to the close of this campaign AND AFTER we must never let people know what low lifes are the ventriloquists of McCain/Palin and how much these hollow candidates with so much to hide from the voters depend on Rovian politpros to control them. Do you imaginer that not having an American soul during the campaign, they will have one if they win?

McCain and the "new" Republican Party are a strange beast that should disappear. That's why many of us old Reps are fighting side by side with you Dems to save America. So don't just hide like the Dem Congress. Get the word out that somebody has made the last eight years an endless crime and that McCain, who was willing to become a Democrat so that he could be Kerry's VP candidate in 2004, changed his mind because Bush offered him a better deal: support in 2008. So if McCain made a deal with the devil, he can't speak of Obama's soul as owned by Rev. Wright (who,unlike most Republicans served as a US Marine) and by some 1960s terrorist when Obama was eight. Whores who sell their souls to the Republican Devil can't speak of who owns Obama's soul. HE OWNS IT BECAUSE ***ONLY OBAMA*** SWORE THAT NO ONE WILL OWN HIS SOUL BUT HIMSELF, HIS GOD AND HIS COUNTY.

MCCAIN KISSED BUSH AND BUSH KISSED HIM BACK WITH HIS POLITICAL KISS OF DEATH. SO A MCCAIN VICTORY-- BY MCCAIN'S CHOICE-- WOULD LOAD THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH WITH THE SAME DEMONS THAT TORMENTED US ALL-- DEMS AND REPUBLICANS-- FOR THESE EIGHT LONG YEARS.

Tell the people WHAT arte the crimes, who committed them, and who will set them free and they will risk their vote on you. But if you are the dummies of Rovian politpros, you will be greeted with the polls of the current Congress that talks the talking points and then grins like a ventriloquist's dummy. Be like Waxam, tell people the truth and they will stand with you when you take the oath of office as a Dem Congress.
