6. I know of at least two, but suspect others
Many are ashamed to admit they are responsible for putting Bush in the White House.

I voted for Bush in 2000, couldn't vote for him in good conscience in 2004 so I voted Libertarian, and I finally learned and I'm voting Democratic in this election.

14. My Boss, her husband...
...and two of my closest co-workers. That is four people out of 9 republicans at work.

The rest of them either won't talk about it, or lose their temper if you say anything political they disagree with.

Bwhahahahahaha!

15. Probably the most passionate critic of the war that I know voted for Bush in 2000, now she's with us
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 09:49 PM by MN Against Bush
I protest the war with her on Thursdays after I get off work and she is working very hard to help Obama. Her name is Coleen Rowley, and some of you may have heard of her as she got a lot of press back in 2002 when she worked for the FBI and blew the whistle on the lack of action by authorities before 9/11. Today she is extremely passionate about stopping the war and protecting our civil liberties, she may have voted for Bush in the past but today she is one of the most passionate defenders of civil rights that I have met and we are really lucky to have her on our side.

I was putting up another Obama sign today (after the previous one was stolen) when she came over and told me she hadn't voted for Clinton either time he ran and didn't like Gore, so she voted Bush. She voted for him TWICE!

This woman who is caucasian, in her forties, a single parent and is chronically ill, has Section 8 subsidized housing, is on disability and receives food stamps AND has had a drug problem in the past. And she was like that all those years she voted Republican. And all those years she gladly partook of all the financial aid programs and drug rehab programs that were started and supported by Democrats. And only now is she voting Democrat - for Obama. And NOT because of her economic situation this time either, but because of PALIN!

Whatever path she took to get here - well, we'll take it.

24. My dad who has promised to vote my way this time around and will.
 It took years of me working him but he finally admitted he was right by telling that for the next election, just tell him how to vote and he'd do it my way.
