At 17 percent YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! so all these early voters in places that have democrats voting at a larger rate than rethugs some are voting for McSane I don't have a link on the break down of this poll but Keith O mentioned it.

2. The hotline tracking poll has the smallest sample, they are just polling about 300 people every day.
Their early voting sample must be very small, I would not be worried about this.

4. Why do you appear to believe in polls like this?
For a grown up, it is a bit ridiculous, don't you think?

9. Gallup's samples are three times larger.
Their internals - like early voters - are more likely to be right.

Does not make sense. I have seen several polls of early voting by state...
that shows Dems way ahead of Repubs.

10. Also, it depends on where the early voters are.
Two million people have voted early in Texas. I hope they all voted for McCain, since that means Obama is racking up huge margins in the places that we need (Florida, Ohio, Nevada and Georgia)

11. I would think that Hotline's sample would be a little small to poll for this
I think there poll is like 900 voters. So would that mean that 17 percent of that is the sample size they are using?

16. Nationally? WHO CARES!!! In California, for example...
There is almost no early voting except by absentee. And guess who that benefits?
