2. Yeah, I'm just wondering what McCain's going to pull or what's going to happen this week.
If nothing happens by Thursday, it's all good. We're in the danger zone right now. I should just focus on work.....

4. Butterflies? I have hardly slept in 2 weeks.
I can't wait until this is over, seriously. Between the election and the World Series...
I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

5. Nope, I refuse to give in to fear.
In fact, I'm sleeping better than I was at this time in 2004.

10. Not "butterflies."
I don't feel butterflies. Though I am old now, I have a feeling that reminds me of when I was young, and used to box. About a week before a big fight, I would become focused, and undergo a mind-body shift. I'm not really able to describe it accurately. But I like it.

11. Me...for sure. How about superstitious? My daughter called and said she had a yard sign
for me...I said, "NO". I've had yard signs the last two elections and we lost. It's lunacy. I realize that. I am not the tin-foil hat type, at all. Still, all of a sudden I don't want to jinx myself. Go figure.

16. Butterflies?
They've long since turned to bats.

I'm pretty sure we'll have Obama for a POTUS and a strong Progressive majority in Congress.

It's the RW Wurlitzer and the freeps who will absolutely not give it a rest. The work is about to begin. Like the poster said upthread, I'm undergoing that mind/body shift, getting into battle mode. Our true mettle will be tested, one and all, over the next four years and in three and a half, we're going to have to fight just as hard, if not harder to hang on to what we've accomplished now and are about to accomplish here shortly.

Gird your loins, fasten your seatbelts. Keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times. The ride is about to begin. Lock arms and let's go get to work.

25. Not so much with the butterflies - just been crabby and a bit
angry. Especially when I listen to the stupid talking heads on the media, the analysts with their continual droning on about the poll numbers, the negative BS ads from McNuts side. I smell a Obama victory, and I just don't want a win - I want a landslide for Barack, so I can watch all the assholes faces when they see election numbers like they have never seen before. Maybe asking for a bit too much, but like I said - I am crabby.

29. Been feeling too excited to eat properly for several weeks.
But underneath that excitement, there is a deep calm because I intuitively sense we've got this one in the bag.

This time it IS different. Nothing will be the same.
