Mock Election results from former DeLay Land (the kids are alright)
These are the final results. Every single middle school and high school went for Obama, most by 2-1 or greater. Three or four elementary schools went for McCain (by nothing like a large margin, in most cases), and I could have told you without looking which ones (at that age, I figure a lot of them are just saying what their parents say).

This is the worst one:
Pecan Grove Elementary School
R D L
319 144 21
And I always said I would never live there with a 10-foot pole.

This is the "rich" high school (!):
Clements High School
R D L
667 1060 112
and I am in the process of picking my jaw up off the floor.

Here are the combined totals:
R: 15049 (29%)
D: 34495 (67%)
L: 2110 (4%)

Hooray for these kids! Either their parents are changing or they are thinking for themselves, and either one or both is good. And some of them are 18 already!

1. Awwww...? Not even one K or R for 67% Dem in former DeLay land?
I know it's "just" kids, but they do grow up, and some of them are 18 now! :patriot:

Still think people will be surprised at the TX stats on Election Night. There as SO many energized people down here--both for the voter registration drives and now GOTV/poll watchers, etc..
I volunteered with a group of 30+ other people doing blockwalking this weekend to put front doorknob hangers in several precincts. Final total was about 5,000 households that would wake up and find Obama/Biden/downticket local candidates info (as well as places to do their early voting) on their doorknobs.
The previous week's blockwalk reached 4,000 homes with the same info.

So far, 1.1 million Texans have early voted..and that is just the totals from the first 4 days, Fri/Sat/Sun are not posted yet on the TX SOS site.

I know the MSM will keep harping "McCain won TX" even if he wins it by a single digit margin.. they will totally ignore the repukes took it by 20+ the last 2 elections even if Mclame wins by the skin of his gums.
Keep in mind, there are alot of downticket local Dems in TX that will benefit from a very small margin win for Mclameass...especially on the county level (it's a start, isn't it?)
