I received a mailing from the RNC requesting a donation, ASAP

I received a three page letter begging for $$$ ASAP, saying McCain urgently needed to raise $20 million within the next ten days, to beat back the Dems and the evil left, blah, blah, blah.

I wouldn't send them a dime if someone held a gun to my head, but I'd like to respond, and have several ideas floating in my head.

One would be to check-off the $500 box, but place no check in the envelope.

Two would be to tell them off in no uncertain terms.

Three would be to tell them I won't send any more money because I am pissed Sarah Palin took my earlier contribution (of course there never was one) and used it on personal clothing.

Four would be to wait until Nov. 5th and ask them why I should send money to a loser.

Do any of you have any suggestions? I want to irritate them as much as possible, as well as waste their time.

10. This is a perfectly good idea but I would just print a graphic on plain paper.

No need to waste a perfectly good sticker, if you know what I mean.

Another idea: Donate to Obama or to one of the Dem Congressional races and use the return envelope to the RNC to let them know what you have done, and to thank them for the reminder.:evilgrin: (This idea is inspired by the brilliant idea to donate to Planned Parenthood in Sarah Palin's name.)

4. I got one too. We have some lead discs around here (slugs, if you will) about the

size of quarters. I thought I would put 4 or 5 of them in the envelope and send them back, so it actually costs them money to process it.

For example do #3, send them a bumper sticker of Obama, place no money in the envelope dont put postage on it and finally get a photocopy of your ass and put it in the envelope as well and send it on its way! :thumbsup:

Ask them "Where is the receipt for the last check for $500.00? I know you got the money as I have the canceled check"
Start them wondering about the fund raising and if they are really getting all the cash donations.

Make a donation to Obama (or another Dem), print out your receipt, and enclose it in the envelope and send it back, with whatever nice note you'd like to write.
