MTP: free airtime Gramps wishes he never had
Nervous laughter bracketing awful evasive answers. Wow, that was a stunningly bad performance. The man is clearly done with this campaign, going through the motions, and not enjoying his last week at all. Brokaw of course never pressed a point or followed up on a single question, as far as I can tell, in the best Timmeh tradition of kid glove treatment, but he did ask some difficult questions.

5. He honestly struck me as a man physically, mentally, and emmotionally exhausted
If he cannot handle the campaign, he cannot handle being President.

6. I felt like Brokaw helped him up onto the chair and grampa kicked
the chair from beneath himself. Brokaw did what he needed to.

10. Brokow refused to followup on ANY question, let Grampy sit there and bloviate without
interruption, never challenged him on ANY answer and to top it off, at the end handed him a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY OF GETTING SHOT DOWN picture and puff piece.

Pathetic. Tim Russert is rolling over.

9. I agree on the make-up
I didn't watch much of the interview but I did note the make-up. I thought it was the best he's looked in ages. However, the make-up couldn't hide his underlying anger.

12. OhMyGod, My son just came in & made the same comment. - He asked me if I noticed
that McSame seems to always be on the verge of exploding into a rage, like he would like to tear the place up. I had agree with my son's observation.

8. I'm watching now - he needs to let it go, relax, & settle into a comfortable retirement.
I truly believe this is what he hopes for.
