Bush Campaign Coordination - Signage
I have to wonder if there was some higher directive to keep the campaign signs out of view until the GOP convention. The signs have come out in a big way in my part of PA - as if "right on cue." Somewhat disturbing. Kerry signs are hard to find. But I am in the heart of Bush Country - so not too surprising...

Only Steve Wingfield has more signs...

1. Are you talking about billboards?
If you mean outdoor signage like billboards, they've probably been reserved and ready for quite some time to coincide with the RNC. Those things are expensive, too.

Three guesses which company owns a significant percentage of the billboards...

Clear Channel

Viacom is another one that owns bunches and gobs of them.

3. I think it just has to do with the RNC
After the DNC I saw an influx of Kerry signs and bumper stickers, but I live in a county that is solidly Dem.

8. Kerry signs..
have been hard to get for some reason. I went to a local dem meeting last week and they had been trying to get signs without any luck. Several people chipped in some money and they decided to just order them from the internet. I'm not sure if those signs have arrived yet, but I ordered some from the net for myself almost two weeks ago and they still haven't arrived. I bet the reason you're not seeing them is because most people haven't been able to get them yet. Maybe we should make our own!

9. The volunteers were handing them out in Ohio
Watched on c-span, the rethugs were doing door-knocking in a mostly rethug suburb, giving out bumperstickers and signs.
