***Official Voting Early was a Little Anticlimatic Thread*************

I voted nearly three weeks ago in Ohio, and I have this crazy (well not so crazy) suspicion that my vote won't be counted. ANybody else feeling a bit disenfranchised by their early vote? Just a feeling I have. It's the first time I voted early.

1. I voted early and am glad I did. It's the most helpful thing people can do for the campaign.

Your name gets removed from the master list and people don't have to keep calling you and knocking on your door etc. because you are already voted!

2. I've voted early most elections because I'm generally overseas at the time . . .

So the act of turning in the ballot to the local consulate or (for this year) handing the DHL package off to our mailroom guy is my "I just pulled the lever" moment.

It's not until about 24 hours later that I get the "shit, I wonder if they're shredding absentee ballots before counting this year" heebee-jeebies.
