On Rachel: Very good interview with Ken Salazar from CO! He's sounding
optimistic. Nice picture he painted of the ground game Obama's got going. :D

1. Just saw that, and I agree.
He sounded genuinely optimistic, not that fake, hollow "oh yeah, we've got this sewn up" kind of stuff a log of campaigns spout.

2. Yeah, Rachel mentioned that McCain got an enthusiastic crowd of 4000 at a rally
today, just wait to see the crowd Obama gets in Denver on Sunday--I think it's Sunday he's in Colorado.

3. I think it's good Rachel tried to temper the enthusiasm, but
the rallies for Obama have been phenomenal-people just want to say they saw the next president!

5. In Republican precincts no less. This is COOL.
I have a friend who lives there. She is very concerned about Colorado. But this is starting to sound very good. Everyone knows the country in it's present state with a Palin at the helm would be suicide. It surpasses "ideology". My friend was married to Gore's lead recount lawyer. So I take her word seriously. But I think we're on a roll.

6. I have a republican friend there who's working for her party.
We had a brief conversation about a month ago, and one of the first things out of her mouth was, 'may the best man win.' That surprised me.

8. Wow, no lockstep allegiance there.
I hesitate being optimistic, but Obama is such a shining example, I find it hard to hold down my excitement. If I could only be half the man he is. I think of the morale he'll spread. Please let it be so.
