How I really don't feel about John McCain

[Voice for Peace]

like he is an American hero,
like he cares about country first,
like he has any special integrity

I don't think his war experience gives him any authority
so many say he was a coward and an arrogant, reckless person
I don't feel he is qualified to be president,
or worthy of people's trust.

I really don't feel like having a beer with him,
or even thinking about him frankly,
though there is something mesmeringly nauseating
about watching him faking his way through this election

I really don't feel like his time in prison
was enough payback for having bombed civilians in Vietnam.

I really don't feel warmly towards him,
or even sympathetic,
I find him loathesome,
that's how I really do feel about him
