Sarah Palin to Drop the Puck Again

The St. Louis Blues have announced that Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will drop the puck for a ceremonial face-off before the Blues-Kings game on Friday night. The announcement comes two weeks after she dropped the puck in Philadelphia for the Flyers’ home opener, an appearance that generated a firestorm of controversy.
Whether the Blues expect America’s most famous hockey mom to be booed as heartily at the Scottrade Center as she was in Philly is an open question, but a search on Thursday afternoon showed no mention of Palin on the Blues’ Web site. No mention either at the McCain-Palin 2008 Web site.
However, as Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times notes, Blues chairman Dave Checketts donated money to the McCain campaign in May. Palin’s last ceremonial face-off engagement resulted from an invitation from Flyers owner Ed Snider, himself a prominent contributor to Republican campaigns.

And as I said there - If she has the same effect on the Blues as she had on the Flyers, expect them to stay at the bottom of the league table.

20. I hope that means that The Flyers can now win a few games. They have the WORST record. :(
http://www.capperspicks.com/nhl/hockey-team-stats.php

As I watch the puck being dropped, I'm wondering if she will be the "true grifter" that I think she is: Palin will dress the non-pregnant teen girl in the LA Kings Jersey and "sweet" little Piper (7 y.o.) in the St. Louis Blues Jersey. :puke:

The above is TRUE Political Shilling that Moosilini is capable of lowing herself to. As I boo her and her entourage on the ice (in my living room in NoVA), I will be cheering for a LA Kings victory during Friday Night's game. ;)
