Obama's Rally in a Red State v. McCain's Rally in a Red State...

(Sorry about the lack of a crowd shot to show what 4000 McCain supporters looks like in a red county in a red state, but I just couldn't find any. I checked the major news web sites and NC's local pages and couldn't find one complete crowd shot of his supporters. I'm starting to wonder if there were even 4000 people there!!)

1. Why do McKKKain/Failin supporters lack diversity?
Sometimes I think I'm watching some sort of skin head rally or something. Maybe I'm missing something? It's like some white supremist cult.

2. While looking through many pix this morning I did see one guy with an Obama mask on...
Does that count?

3. I don't see many diverse faces in the Obama photo either
There are so many people there, the faces are just too small to make out any details at all!

5. Yeah......it really sucks trying to make a group photo when
you have to squeeze over 100K people in. But there have been some great pics posted on DU from the St Louis rally yesterday.

4. Campaigns stage these events and always estimate the numbers on the high side.
But the proof is in the photos.

I heard today on FTN that the Obama numbers might be exaggerated. Look at the pictures idiots!

I'd love to see rallies held the same day, in the same city and see who draws in the bigger crowd. That would blow away any suggestion that McCain/Palin can inspire people the way that Obama/Biden can.

7. well, if it helps...
McManiac is appearing on Monday in a Kansas City suburb. On Saturday, the next POTUS drew 100,000 in St. Louis and 75,000 in Kansas City. McGrumpy? His speech is being held in a high school auditorium. And you have to have tickets in advance. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

6. Ack so many white people. The Republican Party has made a bad bet on demographics
by positioning themselves as the white folks party.

9. I'll be back tonight to post a comparison picture of Obama and McCain's rallies in NC on opposite
ends of the 8th District. McCain was in Cabarrus yesterday, Obama is in Cumberland today, they are bookend counties in the 8th district, both are red counties and Cumberland has the added Republican talking point of being home to the families of the 82nd Airborne in nearby Ft. Bragg. I can't wait for those two pictures to be side by side.
