MN-06: Bachmann Holds Slim Lead in New Poll
Grove Insight for the DCCC (10/10-12, likely voters):

El Tinklenberg (D): 38
Michele Bachmann (R-inc): 42
Undecided: 15
(MoE: ±4.9%)
Interesting numbers. Could there be some truth to them? Well, considering that the NRCC has been canceling buys for GOP "star recruit" Erik Paulsen and shifting them to the 6th District instead, these numbers could very well be close to the truth.

6. Surprised Bachman Has So Narrow A Lead, Ma'am, And That She Is Still Under Fifty Percent
Her public comments consist of such lunatic ravings, and she maintains so high a profile, that my casual assumption was that she was in a bullet-proof district. It is a pleasant surprise to see there is at least a fighting chance she may be flooded out by the rising tide of public anger at lunatic rightists found all over our country.

8. Excellent... That Was the Answer I Was Hoping for...
In a sense, I feel the extremism is turning most away from the Republican Party. It is healthy for America to see these people for who they really are or at least, to hear and see what they really think...

5. Is the Independence Party running someone this time?
They got like 8% of the vote in that district in '06.

7. Nope...that's why we need guys out there swining them to Tinklenberg.
If Tinklenberg wasn't running Bachmann could win. People need to hear Tinklenberg's name more and remember it come election day. That woman is a racist and should technically be stripped of her role in the House, this is just the normal and democratic way to go about it.

12. I hope they lose them both
Paulsen represents a (R) district against a great candidate Ashwin Madia...playing the typical nasty republicans campaign claiming he's not a fit for the district's demographics (he's brown, young and unmarried)...

And we all know about Bachmann by now...

I want to see these MOFOs BURN on Nov 4th.

13. Madia will win
Kerry took the district in '04 and Madia is an outstanding young candidate. Served in Iraq, went to NYU Law. Big things in front of him.
