Do NOT vote a straight Democratic ticket!
I'm sure many of you have problems with Bev Harris but WHY would you want to take a chance? How many times did we hear in 2004 that someone voted and their vote was flipped to Bush? DO NOT VOTE A STRAIGHT DEM TICKET.

4. In many states, a straight ticket vote doesn't capture your vote for president.
In NC, if you vote straight ticket, you still have to vote separately for president. A lot of people don't know that.

I never vote straight ticket. I don't trust it. I fill out each candidate separately. Of course, I always vote for Democrats.

5. Same in SC....Yet the local Dem party has been pushing voting for the Dem Slate...
There is no hope of an Obama win in SC but NC is too important for this information to not get out to the voters. Someone just posted here a little while ago about a relative voting a straight Dem ticket. Do they know their vote may not count now???

6. Oh for fuck's sake. Can't you find any way to make your point that doesn't
direct traffic and minds to Bev Harris?

and it shouldn't matter where it came from as long as it's true.

8. Oh that's interesting...I wasn't planning to vote straight DEM anyway
I'm not a fan of my state representative. There's no Republican running against him so he will win. But I don't want him getting my vote included in his vote total.

I hadn't heard that voting straight Dem could cause a problem. Thanks for posting.
