And these idiots are whining about ACORN? I'm sure Jimmy Johns (freaky fast delivery) is gonna show up with his drivers license to vote.

LMAO.

1. We have to show it here in Ohio too.
I wonder how many states require it now? I thought it was going nationwide.

4. You're right, thank you.
I was talking to a Poll worker earlier tonight and she thought it was strictly photo ID and that's what I remember them asking for when I voted in the primary and in 2006. I'd asked what happens to those who haven't updated their DL's addresses and she said they'd use another form of ID like a bank statement etc with the correct address along with the photo ID. I'm going to talk to her again before the election and will bring up the SOS information.

We need to make sure everyone has accurate information.

3. When I voted 8 days ago here in La Crosse, WI
the woman at my City Clerk's office simply asked my name and address and then gave me a ballot. In the 36 years that I have been voting here I have never had to show any ID to anyone after I registered in 1972.

5. It was weird for us. This is a small rural town, everyone knows
everyone else but beginning in 2006, they began asking for our ID. One of the gals even compared signatures.
