4. Oh that is WONDERFUL!
I hope Obama brings him into his advisory circle or gives him a cabinet post. He seems to really understand what's going on. And I like him so much! I'm thrilled for him!

5. Fantastic news! I am a huge fan of Krugman's, as are many here.
He does a terrific job of making complex issues accessible and understandable to non-economists, and he has been fighting for us all in a very public way for a long time. Congratulations, Paul!:toast:

6. Awesome!
Krugman has been a major critic of Bush since Bush took over the White House. He kept criticizing even though many of his colleagues cowered under a temporarily popular faux-president. Krugman is a modern day Thomas Paine and a pain in the side of the Bushies.

First Al Gore wins a Nobel prize and now a major critic of Bush gets one. Maybe there is justice in the world.

I've been wondering if he wants to replace Paulson??? Yesterday he sort of laughed at the idea of Warren Buffett doing it.

14. Congratulations to Paul Krugman!!!!
A prize well deserved. He was also a supporter of Hillary's economic plan and took plenty of bashing for it.

16. Good for him.
Dr. Krugman is an example of the kind of smart people that we need to get in an Obama administration to help us out of our current mess.

He's also an example of the kind of peole that the anti-intellectual repukes won't allow in.
