Freeptard Selena Zito interviews Sarah Barracuda regarding economics.
Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 03:12 AM by gbrooks

The result is predictable. The blind leading the ignorant. At least Bush occasionally rose to the challenge of completing a sentence where the verb and object were in agreement.

"So, we got that all-of-the-above approach toward energy independence that we need. But also -- reducing taxes on our businesses, so that our businesses can keep more of what they're owing"

In Sarah's universe the verb, 'to have' becomes the orphaned red headed stepchild 'we got'. But that's another matter. Apparently she doesn't know the difference between owing and owning.

In the context of the present crisis in the world's financial system, this reveals the fundamental delusion of the Bush doctrine as it pertains to economics.

To Bush and Palin owing = owning. But the basic rules of economics and the rest of the world that understands economic fundamentals, disagrees.

When Bush was elected in 2000, his ignorance of economics had a certain childish charm. When Palin can't tell the difference between owing and owning in 2008, the bloom is off the rose.

Ignorance isn't funny anymore.

As if Sarah Palin knows how to use a calculator, anyway!

2. I take it back, she makes LESS sense than Mercer
"So, we got that all-of-the-above approach toward energy independence that we need. But also -- reducing taxes on our businesses, so that our businesses can keep more of what they're owing"

What the hell does any of that mean? (keep more of what they're owing?????)

3. Just as Bush is ignorant of history (his major in college), Palin can't communicate
despite her major in journalism. She's so incoherent, her answers sound as if she's being interviewed while she's doing something more involved, like changing a tyre.

Heh - a quote just now from BBC Radio: "Palin was hired to bring some genuine inexperience to the ticket".

5. I'd be happy if she brought a subject, verb and object to the ticket. Preferably in that order.
