Who would know better than John Lewis?

"George Wallace never threw a bomb. He never fired a gun, but he created the climate and the conditions that encouraged vicious attacks against innocent Americans who were simply trying to exercise their constitutional rights. Because of this atmosphere of hate, four little girls were killed on Sunday morning when a church was bombed in Birmingham, Alabama," wrote the Democrat.

1. I remember Wallace very well. A girl I went to school with was so

ashamed because her parents had a Wallace sign in their front yard. Now, the Republicans have gotten much better at disguising their bigotry, so their is no shame.

and Fox News talking about Ayers, a 60s radical day in, day out....I can see why Rep. Lewis would be reminded of that era.
