Amidst all the blatant racism in the McCain rallies, one question:
In THAT atmosphere, would ANY Black or Arabic McCain supporter (and I'm sure there are some) be welcome there???

1. Tolerated only if they wore McCain shirts and buttons
and acted like a house servant.

2. That is why I balk at *ANY* black conservative who insists on going McCain this year

In this year, when the TRUE colors of many the Republican party come out when they are backed into a corner.

I truly feel like a rift is forming. There is going to be a new "fiscal/small government"-only type of party that forms out of this. All the fundies and racists can battle it out on their own.

6. Well, I have goofy theory on this...
I think the GOP PROVED its true racist nature, and, in hindsight, the man to whom we owe the credit for inadvertantly exposing these guys: Dr. Alan Keyes.

Look at ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL this stuff the Machine has drug up on Obama during this campaign. And witness how feverishly they're working to destroy his momentum.

Now go back to '04, the GOP throw Keyes in against Obama and pretty much goes about its business. You mean they ONLY just recently found Weatherman/Rezko/whatever connections? Please!

Think about it: if the Machine had worked its (no pun intended) black magic back in '04, MAYBE Keyes might've had a better chance of success. And check out the windfall: Obama would PROBABLY not have been chosen as the keynote for the DNC, thuc America wouldn't have become captivated by him (let's face it, he made his bones with that stirring speech) and he would TODAY still be an Illinois obscurity. FURTHERMORE, the Pubs would've gained a Senate seat.

But, NOPE, why expend any efforts for some crazy Negro who, like all Black conservatives, are a nice disposable conversation piece to haul out for those special occasions?

3. Well, they do have their one black guy.
That radio host that begged ("I'm begging you") McNasty to do something.

4. If you look hard enough I guess you can find one clown.
I wonder what they're paying him.

8. Larry Elder?
Los Angeles rightwing black radio host for begging McCain to "do whatever it takes" to win. Given that Larry Elder never lets a day go by without bashing blacks I assumed he wanted McCain to use race-baiting tactics.

5. This is starting to hurt
It reminds me they always had house slaves and the head slave that minded the others.

7. I saw a few black faces in that one crowd. This is not your grandfather's KKK
The world has changed. Republicans do not fit into the neat little stereotypes we like to slander them with here in DU. Racism has a much more subtle and sub-terranean approach today.
