Do you think McLame wishes he had that choice over again??

Between the horrible interviews and the constant SNL skits and now trooper gate, he has to be shitting.

What an idiot McLame was and how stupid they were to try to fool their supporters.

How can anyone trust his judgment now???

1. Did you hear what Bill Maher said about her recently?
He quoted McCain's people, who said Palin was a "quick study."

Maher then said, "So how stupid was she before?"

2. No one with intelligence and sanity can trust him, for sure.
I bet Obama's poll numbers will be up by another 5 points by next weekend.

5. I think McCain wishes he had chosen Romney.
As much as I hate Romney, at least I can be honest and say he isn't stupid. Wrong but at least he seems aware.

6. All of the hype about preparing Palin for 2012
is, IMO, just that. I think she's toast after this election -- too many skeletons. It will probably be Romney, or someone of that ilk.

7. Zero sum gain for Palin
She's just preaching to the choir now.
They already had these people. Just about anyone else McCain could have chosen would have brought more people into their fold.

8. Yes, but....
Is there any choice he could've made that would have made a difference?

9. I stated here on DU, about 3 days after he chose her, that
Sarah Palin was going to be the gift that keeps on giving. And, gee, golly, willikers, by gosh, she certainly keeps giving!

10. The Palin choice was a couple of major mistakes ago...
These have doomed him:

"Suspending" his campaign to strongly link his name to the bailout.

The Ayers/terrorist Hate Talk Express which lasted 2 days before McCain flipped and tried to put the brakes on it.

12. I recall fondly the days when she was their "secret weapon"
those three days or so before the hype gave way to reality, when the RW pundits were gloating about how she spelled doom for the dems.

13. Whenever I see someone with a McCain/Palin bumper sticker
on their car, I just laugh my ass off. Of course I also steer clear of them - if they are stupid enough to vote for that ticket, they probably shouldn't be driving a car.

14. Just naming Palin as his nominee
should have disqualified McSame. She is horribly uninformed and unqualified. It boggles the mind that their numbers aren't languishing in the single digits.
Well, it's like the bumper sticker I saw recently: You can fool 29% of the people all of the time - although they are doing even better than that...x(

16. John McCain could have saved himself all this grief
if he had vetted Palin with even ONE real Alaskan. He screwed up bigtime.
