reagan week and mon thru thurs wasnt fun. today i get my tv back, i have been feeling good.

end of june wasnt fun with the handover.

i dont know. but i am not feeling today is really significant at all. maybe with some of the people on the board mike, kinda making me say, hey wait, am i missing something, but i am going to trust my feel. i guess it is if you are believing that poll. i dont, i will wait. i think the people saw thru the hate campaign i dont know, havent talked to anyone

6. Today, we ate lunch at Pizza Hut in Beebe, Arkansas.
When we pulled into the parking lot, what did we see? A van adorned with "Veterans for Kerry" bumper stickers. We just HAD to seek out the person that it belonged to (AND IT HAD ARIZONA TAGS). They lady remarked, "Aren't they just wonderful?" We heartily agreed.

Yes, feeling pretty good here in good old Arkansas too.

Oh yeah, and I got a picture of our future President and Vice-President in the mail today. AWESOME!

18. I'm at home on this damn slow OLD computer or I would
smile back at ya and put one of those bouncy guys on here too. I attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I have passed several cars with JK bumper stickers. AND, up on the corner from where I work, I have been noticing a makeshift yard sign (some of the cardboard signes staples to a post). This morning, the garage was open and BOTH vehicles had bumperstickers.

Of course, AT WORK, we have a whole parking lot full. My daughter and I stocked up at the county Dem headquarter and had a blast "decorating".

7. The job numbers did not help Kerry.
Events are more important than scandal.

No coverage of Iraq anymore.

I don't like the trend I'm seeing.

Look for the one dated 9/3. It has Kerry in the lead.

Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 06:18 PM by seabeyond
many are going to buy it. lordy most all reports own up to lack luster. they were bad. and some report actually said they were manipulated to get that many. they are not good. they are exactly numbers kerry can use. they arent even high enough to cover the people that are entering the workforce this month

31. Even if the media doesn't cover Iraq, it is still in folks minds . . .
They are calling people up ever day - they just activated another guard unit here -- folks can't forget the war and if * ignores it, that will piss them off -- it is an awkard balancing act and the man can't ride his bike without falling off.

The debates are coming and Kerry has more in store.

Don't count on the media - this is a grass roots effort, we have to get the word out and we have to stop worrying and fretting and get to work.

5. what the heck?
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 06:13 PM by democracy eh
dude it has been an alright day

this Day after is much weaker for the RNC than the DNC's day after

the Zell fall out, the pathetic W speech, the fact that Kerry hit 'em hard late last night (for the AM news cycle) and today (so he made he PM), no surrogates,

over-reliance on 9/11 may captivate people for a day or two, but it is short term, they offerred nothing conrete to build upon.

My thoughts are with the big dog. but between his heart condition and the impending hurricane, that sucked a lot press time.

dude.sure there was a bad poll, likely flawed, but dude, there was a lot of good today, Kerry may have turned the vietnam corner as well.

relax

there will be worse days

26. Here's another observation. I hope it helps, Mike.
I don't mean to take anything away from Wes Clark - Lord knows I love that man. BUT, when I was volunteering for him during the primaries, I kept being told (by campaign workers) that things were going great. I tried hard to believe it. I wanted to believe it. But, deep down, I could FEEL that they were just saying things to keep us motivated. Not that that is a bad thing. But, honestly, I couldn't see any real-life evidence of "things are going great" and "we have a lot of support". Sure, there was some, but I didn't FEEL it - you know what I mean?

That's why I posted those two stories up above. With Kerry, I SEE it and I FEEL it. Honestly, I do. I'm a Cancer - a very feeling person. And, I promise you, I FEEL good about this election.

Or are you scared of the CORPORATE MEDIA and their polls?

Care to discuss the 57 - 43 lead Kerry had on the CNN online poll last night after the Bush speech???
