Poll question: So, McCain managed to hold onto his temper the other night.

Since then, Obama and Biden have challenged him to "say it to my face" and he's been challenged in person:

He's also been challenged by his supporters to "get angry"!

So, what's going to happen Wednesday?

1. Other - he'll make some lame attempts at humor, and he'll snark alone. nt

4. Can we hope for a "at long last, have you no decency, sir?" moment?

5. Considering that McNasty wouldn't even look at Obama
during the 1st debate, I really thought he might have a breakdown and just physically attack him. During the 2nd debate with the way McCain carried himself, I told my husband to watch because any minute he might do a WWF move and leap on him. He gets more desperate and as time goes on it becomes more likely.

It's also possible that Obama might get him with a comment like, "Senator McCain must feel really desperate to sink to this level of attack on me." We'll see.

6. I'm in great hopes
that McCain has been placed in a corner such that he must launch some sort of assault on Obama vis a vis the muck that has been thrown at him.

I'm sure Obama will take him out - whether it is simply holding him to past pledges of running a high minded, no slime, campaign or refuting McCain's accusations or turning the Keating 5, et.al. back onto McCain. No doubt Obama will finish him off.

It's either that or McCain does his rambling, wandering, grumpy, 'slightly menacing grin' act again and goes out with a cowardly whimper.

Either way - GoBama and an Obama win for a third debate running.

7. Other--he'll make some snarky lying attack and...
stand there smirking while Obama calls him out to his fucking face. That clip will go viral.

8. Consider that McCain did some walking while Obama gave his response during the debate.
That probably was a man that was on the verge of releasing a lot of tension.

9. McCain is too full of himself to realize that his insulting peevishness
is more destructive to him than anyone else (legitimate arguments/differences - whole different story).

It's pretty clear that McCain doesn't understand regular Americans. If he did, he wouldn't be tanking so miserably.
