If you are a professional woman supporting Obama and don't mind going REALLY public we need you!

"... Our tax cuts / stimulus checks went directly to bills not disposable income. According to Sen. McCain's tax plan my taxes would go down only a little over $300. BUT under Sen. Obama's plan I would get an additional tax break of $1042. McCain reserves his largest tax breaks for people who make over $100,000 per year…. Those who HE considers middle class! This fact alone is evidence of the fact that he has NO IDEA.
We are the new "Silent Majority" (never in my life did I think I would refer to myself as Nixon did), our concerns are things that don't seem to effect the true elitists in this nation,… the Republican Elite. Stagflation, a crumbling infrastructure, soaring healthcare costs are facts of our everyday lives. We worry about melting Arctic Ice, drowned polar bears and the increasing frequency of category 5 hurricanes because we have no place else to go except this pale blue dot on an outer arm of the Milky Way Spiral. We worry about each other. These "Marriage Amendments" do not only effect gay couples they effect couples like us. We are just as dedicated (if not more so) to each other than many married couples, but I cannot add my beau to my insurance nor do we have rights of survivorship. We are angry that we have not caught the man who murdered 3,000 people on our soil. That anger turned to indignation at the fact that those murders were politicized in an effort to take away our civil liberties. We worry about the soldiers (and their families) who have been sent to places they should not be. Will lying to these dedicated men and women destroy our tradition of the citizen-soldier? Yes, we are the new "Silent Majority" and there are millions of us.
I became even more angry this week when Cindy McCain talked about how Sen. Obama should stand in her shoes in reference to her status as a military mom. I thought to myself, "She should stand in the shoes of millions of Americans who are losing their homes and businesses and have the same worries and fears we do."
Thank you for asking,"
