History of heart disease and the fact that he used to smoke. Bit of a stretch imo.

5. Well, McCain was a serial adulterer. So, clearly he has a sex addiction. Is he fit to lead?
See how stupid this can get? :eyes:

10. McCain smoked two packs a day for 25 years, supposedly
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 08:30 AM by Spider Jerusalem
he quit around 1980 or so, I think.

Oh, and his father and grandfather both died of heart attacks, younger than McCain is now.

11. He probably still smokes. Has nothing to do with short term health, at his age.
OR his ability to lead. Maybe he was successful at quitting, though. It's just that, as a former smoker, I know that smokers rarely are able to quit at their first attempt, so I'm assuming he still smokes a bit from time to time.

Maybe that's why he's so cool and calm. Smoking is a stress reliever. Really.

13. Bush had been an alcoholic. Not just a drinker. A real alcoholic.
Many former Presidents smoked. I think LBJ did, JFK did, FDR did. Truman smoked cigars, I think? If I had to guess, I'd say that most of our Presidents have smoked...what with their being male and smoking being an acceptable, and even macho, thing to do. (a la Marlboro Man)

15. Obama said
he quit smoking last year, using nicorette. If this is all the McCain campaign has left, they are dead. Gupta didn't talk about McCain's father and grandfather dying of heart attacks, (someone posted that here yesterday.)

17. * smoked and chewed (probably still chews)
and still smokes cigars. His wife still smokes. When you look at Uncle Dick with his 4 heart attacks, how can they make an issue of any Dem's health?

20. Yea I heard that Dr. Gupta yesterday he gave McCain a
clean bill of health and said how he had good genes and his mother is 96 or something. He failed to mention that the male side of McCain's family die young. Then he brings up Obama's health and says he only released a one page medical report. Myself I had a rare form of melanoma inside my eye on my retina and I have to go though cancer screening every 6 months. They caught mine very early and I have a 83% chance of surviving 5 years. I had no symtoms of it, it was discovered in a routine eye exam. If it has progressed to the point that you have symtoms chances are it has spread to the liver and if so your chances a very slim. I am not a Doctor I just play one on DU.

22. They never mention that Mccain's father died at 70 and grandfather died at 61, both of heart attacks
There is a paternal history of heart problems in his family. Maybe I'm mistaken but Sen. Mccain seems to have been born with a penis, just like his dad and grandfather. Senator Mccain is now 72 years old. He was wheezing and out of breath during the debate - many people noticed it.

Mccain has had dang near the entire bottom left portion of his face removed due to skin cancer.

The media will say anything to deflect inquiries regarding Sen. Mccain's health. ANYTHING.

What they don't know is that the trolls have already decided they're voting for 4 more years. I really don't know why they're bothering at this point. Their boy McBush is gonna lose.

Today, CNN is examining Obama. From Monday-Wednesday, they examined McCain's melonoma and age.

28. This is how desperate they are:
This morning on Fox News (yeah I know--but it amuses me to see what they're up to)--they were all breathlessly reading an article by some idiot at one of the networks about how "dirty" and "smelly" the Obama plane was compared to the McCain plane. Seriously--that's all they got. :rolf:
