Why McCain dropped the Ayers attacks
Walter Annenberg, whose foundation funded Ayers' projects in Chicago, turns out to have been a very close friend of...

RONALD REAGAN!

5. We need to counter with this info
Walter Annenberg, a very close friend of Reagan, was MUCH MORE CLOSELY "ASSOCIATED" with Ayers than Obama ever was!

7. Could also have been he wants to avoid too much info on Keating 5.
Obama has a lot more money to play these games than McBush does.

9. He has NOT dropped it. He's smearing Obama with it on tonight's Hannity show
and using Rezco and Phleger, too. Today they released the Murtaugh statement about how "Obama's friend Bill Ayers tried to kill me". They'll be using it more and more.

11. You think he gives a shit about that if
means turning the election around by him being able to brand Obama with being an associate to a domestic terrorist?

Maybe he's more concerned with having Keating 5 Obamaranged on his head?

16. Yes but Ronald Reagan never liked John McCain
it was in the article from Rolling Stones. After McCain dumped his first wife, the Reagans were clearly upset and refused to talk to McCain anymore. Even today it took Nancy forever to come out and endorse McCain and even then she did it only half-heartingly
