Is McCain-Palin trying to hint at someone to assassinate Obama
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 04:29 PM by McCCain4retirment
Sarah Palin told the audience that Barack Obama "palled around with terrorists" adding,"I am just so fearful that this is not a man who sees America the way you and I see America." Upon hearing the Republican VP candidate's concern that Sen. Obama might be a terrorist, a voice in the crowd cried out 'Kill him!'

"Now it turns out, one of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers...And, according to the New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, 'launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol,'" she continued.

"Boooo!" the crowd repeated.

"Kill him!" proposed one man in the audience.

McCain campaign has chosen to stand before campaign rallies and accuse Obama of hiding sympathies with domestic terrorists,to accuse their opponent, essentially, of being a terrorist.

I mean, personally I think these two nut jobs are hinting something to us:

"somebody finish the job(wink,wink)"

1. One hair on his head and those redneck right-wing faux-Christian racist bastards will bleed.
They better know it too.

All the boomsticks in the world can't save them.

6. That would be the straw that leads to white supremacist nutjobs becoming the hunted.
They'd better blow themselves up in their tract houses.

Make it a nice quick death instead of a slow keelhauling.

We can bring hell too. Passive resistance doesn't work against true fascists.

They have to leave their ratholes sometimes.

5. She deliberately tried to frame Obama (a sitting US Senator, no less)
as an enemy of the state and a dangerous individual. Yeah, that's the reaction the McLoon campaign is hoping for, no doubt.

12. In My Estimation, Ma'am, You Are Right: That Is What They Are Hoping For
They know perfectly well they are inflaming a mass of mentally unstable, violently inclined, racist bigots: they know exactly what and who their 'base' is, and what reactions can be expected to emerge from it, given the right prodding, which they have undertaken to supply from their podiums.

Politicized murder is pretty much the only remaining hope the Republican party has of holding on to national power in this country, now, and in the future.

14. keep it up.
Palin/McCain will be on the wrong side of history, the wrong side of prison bars, and the wrong side of right. And that is if they can get past the army of angry Americans who aren't going to put up with this.

what kind of Christian does she claim to be? WOW. She really is a witch-hunter-- using Muthee's approach in politics now. She needs to be locked up ASAP. She is an enemy of the state, a danger to society and a cult-leader inciting mass violence.

15. It's become clear this is their new strategy
Incite assassination to happen before the election and challenge the electoral college results in court as no candidate having a majority since one candidate is deceased.

When it goes to the House, it will be McCain alone who can receive votes from state delegations under the same argument. The House canm either vote for McCain or allow the Senate to put in Biden, but it will be such a mad house I bet they think they'll convince enough Blie Dogs to climb on board in the House.

16. every succeeding thread on this, gets increasingly exaggerated with NO new data
find out WHO the specific people in the audience shouting these things ARE, and the nature of their connection to the GOP, the McCain Campaign or whoEVER....

THEN, get back with me.

you cannot say that McPalin is advocating this shit without proof

you have no proof other than their silence at the time and since

therefore, this is incendiary and false

bullshit, if you will

18. Well, the Secret Service is
investigating the man in the crowd who said Kill him. I am sure we will find out who he is, where he lives, how long he has been a repuke. I am sure he is a card carrying member of the repuke party. And the fact that Wolf Killer said nothing nor did McCain, then they are guilty.

21. In sociology the type of action taken by mccain and palin is called
creating a moral panic, and it is indeed done to cause action against certain person and persons. Could they be doing this in an attempt to only win an election, perhaps but the results could be much worse. Moral panics can get out of hand very quickly, just look at some of the things that happened after the aides crisis became blown out of proportion.

When you incite a riot, you have little to no control over the crowd's actions once it becomes a mob. Nor do you have control over every person you are influencing and the way they react when they hear you say certain things. I may recognize what palin says as a lie, in fact I do see what she says as a lie, but some people believe her and believe Obama is a terrorist that must be stopped before he becomes president. mccain and palin are playing a dangerous game all in the name of their own ambition.
