Polls: Pennsylvania Slipping Away For McCain?
By Eric Kleefeld - October 7, 2008, 12:42PM

A new SurveyUSA poll of Pennsylvania suggests that this big Dem-leaning swing state, where John McCain has been making a major play, may have slipped away from him for good.

The numbers: Obama 55%, McCain 40%. Obama is ahead 52%-43% among men, ahead 57%-38% with women, and even leads 49%-45% among white voters.

The McCain campaign had high hopes that they could take advantage of Obama's problems with working-class whites during the state's primary. But more and more polls, such as Muhlenberg, Quinnipiac and Rasmussen, are showing Obama way ahead here.

2. PA has like 1million voter advantage for the democrats in that state
If we can get a strong voter turnout there is no way that McCain can win the state.

3. I don't think McLame has EVER lead in PA.
I wish they would stop this with this state. This "working-class white" bullshit refuses to take into account that alot of these folks who they label that way don't even vote. They should NOT be considered "likely voters".

4. Obama's offices in the state = 78 and McCain has only 26!
Not to mention the Democratic Clubs which have offices throughout the state too :-). How dare McCain/Palin think they can take this one from us!

6. PA is a blue state
If any GOPer was gonna win PA, it was Bush over Kerry in 2004. And Bush lost even then, even with huge margins in Central and Northwest PA. It's ssimply not doable for McCain. Look for McCain's ads to come down in eastern PA within the next week. He'll stay up in Pittsburgh, Erie, and Harrisburg in order to avoid demoralizing the base, and because those markets do double duty in OH and WV.

PA's finished for McCain. The only idiot still shameless enough to lie about that is Chuck Todd.
