Tuesday's Debate: McCain is going to Implode
I really hope that the Keating stuff puts McCranky over the edge. I'd love to see him meltdown on national tv

2. Are we really going to start this again?
Why raise unrealistic expectations that aren't going to happen?

Mcsame did not lose his temper and start calling Obama "uppity" in the first debate.

Palin didn't wet herself and cry for Mama in the VP debate.

And mcsame isn't going to implode in the town hall debate. He's an experienced debater and this is his preferred forum. Obama will need to bring his "A" game, just like every other time.

I honestly don't understand why so many here at DU want to lower expectations for repubs. Do you have some twisted need to be disappointed on debate nights?

4. You don't think McCain came off as crass in the first debate?
If so, then we didn't watch the same debate. He wouldn't even look at or toward Obama. The townhall should convey a warmer, more relaxed feel. If mclame does the same thing, he's toast. But I have no doubt that if it comes up, he'll get testy on the matter. It's not about raising or lowering expectations, and I've yet to be 'disappointed' on a debate night thus far.

8. He came off as crass but competent.
And he certainly didn't implode. He lost the debate but he didn't look like a fool or make a lunge for Obama and he isn't going to do that in the town hall forum, either.

6. The bar for McShame is set very high this time
thanks to his own memes about being comfortable in town hall forums. I can't wait to see what happens.

9. So let's set it higher.
McCain really is very good in the town hall format so I expect him to do very well. Of course he's an idiot with economics so that will weigh him down some....

7. I'm hoping he drops a racial slur or at least an obscenity...
Obama needs to attack him on the Keating scandal, but do so in a calm manner. Allow McCain to get red in the face, absolutely furious, and accidentally mutter something really offensive.

13. Oh yea, McCain is capable of saying something really offensive -

"bullshit" was too mild!

14. Problem with that is...
There's plenty of people who think he said, "Of course it is." The other problem was that he was muttering while Obama was talking, so it was very difficult to tell what he was saying. I personally think he did say bullshit, but it's not 100% verifiable.

12. How about saying something about the bailout crashing the first time
almost crash the 2nd time. And then make a remark that at least we aren't waiting until it crashes again for the 5th or 6th time.
